I stopped for gas with a gift debit card and when i placed it in the pump it said see cashier. I decided to use my credit card instead of going in to validate the gift debit card. I purchased gas on my credit card for $20. and some cents. Later in day I found out that I was charged on the gift card by the gas station $13.67?????????????? How is this possible when I ended up using my other credit card to purchase gas and not the gift card but they charged me on the gift card which I had cancelled that transaction....hmmmm something is not right with this Chevron station.

When paying by a credit card, station charged my card without my authorization to "check its validity." They then charged me for my gas after I filled up - end result, the "validation charge" of 30.00 AND the gas are reflected on my card.
