This review is for their other store on 35th and Burnham St. El Rey has some of the best bakery in town. Things you cannot find anywhere else - Mexican spcialty pastries and traditional American items. A butcher counter that will cut any order you request right in front of you. Prices are the best in town. Quality is equal or exceeds that of the local chain stores. Produce is always fresh and some very good prices on items they regularly carry. They carry all the basic produce items one would need plus a nice selection of imported things you don't see anywhere else. This store is CLEAN and very well organized. It's a big place. They have five check-out lines and there is never a long wait. Huge parking lot in front of the store. Staff is friendly and helpful BUT most don't speak English at all or very well so you are kind of on your own if you need to find something or have a question about an item. Everyone tries to be helpful though.

This is a great place to get anything and everything a Hispanic family needs. Great food,Great service,the quality of food is great .I have been to this place since I was a little girl, and hopefully my daughter will shop here when she grows up.I would reccomend this store to everybody!!!
