This is a really Great Salon. They are refreshingly friendly and warm. Jen gave me an amazing massage. I also get my haircut there. Every salon should be like this one. Best in Kansas City I've found. Also they have great evening hours. 5 STARS

Best Haircut and eyebrow waxing ever. I Found this place online. What a find. I've never met such warm friendly people. I think everyone would enjoy the atmosphere. Not to mention. I went to cut all my hair OFF. for locks of lock. They even had the applications and offered to mail the hair for me. You don't run in to people that are so cool and talented. These guys really seem to love this industry, It is not a secret why they do such a good job. I can't wait to go back, I'm taking my sister to get her hair colored next week. Just wanted to say that even though the world is as busy as it is and the corporations seem to have it all. Not true. There are special places with special people that will always remain. Thank you for doing something different and striving for not only excellence, but happiness,. It's apparent and most of all contagious !!!! :~)

Having extremely curly, frizzy, big, dry & very difficult to deal with hair all my life. I gave up on getting it to be gorgeous, shiny, bouncy curls that had ringlets to die for after maybe disaster #15 or so. They always start by letting me know ALL the amazing things my hair was about to become and be. Let?s just say ?the magic? never happened. I felt like there was something wrong with me, my hair, b/c it never behaved the way I or even the pro?s said it should. Honestly I had a great deal of shame and insecurities about my curls and my hair in general. I retreated to putting it in a ponytail 90% of the time. My sister and I were blessed w/ the same hair. After going to New Creations Salon, she stopped by my house glowing and bouncing with excitement and joy. She looked fabulous? I am always so nervous when I am getting my hair done, fearing I will be spun around in the chair and be feel disappointed. My experience was very different the moment I had picked up the phone. They actually asked my about my hair & they seemed to know my curls. They told me to stop using shampoo & to towel dry my hair b/f adding (to the ends only) conditioner. My hair looked better than it had in years b/f I even got there. Lindsey made me feel comfortable and confident b/f ever picking up her scissors. I got the most amazing haircut and my first hair color (highlight w/ lowlights). My hair has never looked better in my life truly. It has dimension and shine thanks to just a few strands of color. Who knew some aluminum foil could make my hair look so good. For the first time in my life, I am wearing it down and enjoying my curls and I know how to make them look great now. It?s easy !! I just do everything almost opposite than before and now I love my curls and feel lucky to have them. I just needed to use the right products (w/o alcohol and sulfates) and use them the right way. Oh and go to the right salon. I can?t thank you enough for taking the time to care. You?ll never know what you?ve done for me. Your talent and advice made all the difference.

I was long over due to break up w/ my old salon. They had jacked up my hair and overcharged me for the last time. I full of anxiety and fear about where to go. I decided to ask different girls w/ cute hair where to go. Odd as it was be, it must have been a sign because all 3 random raved about new creations. One of them even gave me a business card. So I called and was overwhelmed w/ joy by the warm & accommodating girl that took half an hour to ask about my hair,lifestyle, and goals before choosing my stylist. At that time I had greenish hair w/ orange streaked pieces. Being a house, I felt at home right away. The salon was so colorful,open, and relaxing. It just had great energy. Everyone there was so friendly. It was nice to see people that are happy at work. Lindsey was my savior. She totally took 10 yrs off me. I was in need of something new and she was not afraid to make suggestions. I have to say it took some persuasion, but she gave me the cutest long side sweeping bang. I swore that it would look awful, it was sooo Sassy, I love it. Plus she gave me tips for styling that I CAN actually do. Also Sandra did my eyebrows ( I was a virgin,but she said everyone needs two of them :) WOW, I am hooked. It really opened my eyes up. I left there sooo happy and I felt like I made 4 new girlfriends. Very fun place. I never get girl time. I can't wait to go back for another wonderful experience there. 5 STARS !!! These are some very talented cool girls, you won't be disappointed

I had the worst experience at this salon! I had a fingernail appointment at 1:30pm (for my wedding the next week). When I showed up, the owner (nail tech) told me she was running behind, and asked if she could give me a pedicure. I thought I might have an extra hour, so I allowed her to start soaking my feet for the pedicure while she finished her other customer. I sat and soaked for 1 hour and 30 minutes. I removed my feet at 3:00pm. Finally, she started my pedicure around 3:30pm, but she continued to get up and walk off inbetween steps. My feet were finished at 5:30pm. She began my fingernail appointment at 5:30pm. At this point, I kept telling myself all of my wasted time would be worth it if my nails were as good as the reviews said they would be. I was really disappointed. I asked for long nails. She cut them too short and then stated that she would stretch them next time I came in. They were the ugliest nails I have ever seen. Then she charged me $120! I left the salon at 7:30pm!

you can get a cut anywhere.........but you will get a style here! I was a little nervous (as usual) when I walked into the salon for my first time. But I felt welcomed and comfortable right away. I was also 2 hours late for my appointment, but they still managed to squeeze me in and work with me, I really appreciated that- next time I will be on time! ;) I didn't really know what I wanted, but Megan suggested a couple great things... and a couple hours later I walked out of there completely satisfied and happy- and trust me, that didn't happen to me too often before at different salons! The colors are great and the cut is exactly how I wanted it! Thank you for not being like your typical hair salon with the "catty" and fake staff! I actually liked hanging out with the girls there and didn't feel out of place and uncomfortable- and I hate to repeat myself but: that didn't happen to me too often before at different salons either! I will definitely go back here as long as I am living in t

Best Hair Cut and Color Kansas City has to offer.I don't think I am a picky person,I just want my hair to look great and not feel like I've been ripped off when I'm getting in the car.(OK,Maybe that is alot to ask) I walked in as a skeptic,but I left very impressed!! First of all. What a cool place, just to see the inside would be worth the visit. An old house turned into a very unique colorful space. Very open and cheery feeling the minute you walk through the door. The girls there are also unusually friendly. I didn't know how to act with all the warmth and attention I got there that day. Lindsey did an amazing job on my hair. She put Highlights/Lowlights in my hair and cut it. she suggested since I was soo light at the ends and having to color more often, to add some lowlights to balance it all out. WOW. It really made a difference. I also appreciated someone thinking of my pocket book and how often I am having to recolor my hair. I can't wait to go back in 5 weeks. A+

I've never written or even read reviews as I was suspect of the authenticity.Someone has to be the skeptic? However; I had just had more than a bad experience so I turned to the web. My curiosity was sparked when I saw New Creations Salon online. Not that there were so many reviews but at the things people had taken the time to share about their experiences. They made the salon feel so personal and warm, almost like they'd had a life altering experience......Things that can have only come from the heart. So it made me want to check them out.So I did...... I honestly had the best experience I've ever had at a salon. The words I had read.....had not lied. The salon really is something different & special. It' hard to explain in words, but I will tell you that everyone was very helpful,warm,and genuine. These guys are so great. I am new to KC and Called on a moments notice. They stayed past open hours and gave me truly the best cut I've ever had. I have never rated a salon before and I'll never have to again. I am a lifer. They are really hip but also very freindly and professional. felt like I was at home right away. Everyone there goes out of their way to make you feel like you are just one of the girls. You don't find the kind of genuine concern that they all seem to have for people. The salon is beautiful and relaxing. It really feels like a secret get away. I always feel better when I leave if I am in a bad mood or have had a stressful day. I can always count on something new and cool with my nails. Right now I have gel tips with crushed sea shells on the french tips.Talk about cool and gorgeous. I also have purple toes with electric blue glitter on the tips. The only trouble I ever have is deciding what I am going to do with all the cool new little things they always have. Sandra says they have everything you don't NEED but can't live without. She's right. I hope I will never have to live without this salon. I get my NAILS,PEDICURES,WAXING,HAIR AND GLYCOLIC PEELS done there (you can see where my income goes) and I love every thing about the place. Absolute must check out. Also I didn't mention they are very resonable with their prices. Maybe even below market. I have gone to other salons that seem to nickel and dime you to death!!! One more thing that I think is unusual. They guarantee all of their work. Who does that????

This is a really fabulous salon. They advertise that they specialize in Curly hair, They are not kidding. I learned more about my curl in the 2 hrs I spent there then ever in my life. I got my nails done on my 1st visit there. I get tons of compliments and they look and feel natural. I got a protein gel french manicure they are so thin that at first I was worried they would break, But they have been very durable,shiny and beautiful. The staff was very knowledgable and friendly.I highly recommend this salon to relax and get away. I felt like I was at my sister's on a Saturday going through her closet. Great Experience..I really struck gold and you will love it there too. Never will you feel so welcome and at ease in a new situation. Everyone there is very cool as well as knowledgable....definate A+

This is a 3 story house turned into a salon. The staff there were very warm and very knowledgable. I got a Pedicure while I was processing and it was nothing short of amazing. Sandra really went the extra mile on these tired dogs. I travel alot and this was the most relaxing and comfortable salon I have ever been in. I felt like I was hanging out with old friends. Also I called at the very last minute.and these girls stayed way past hours to accomodate me. Definte A+ I highly recomend this salon for all of your needs.
