I went to Platinum Tan before my recent business trip to Vegas for a custom spray tan.The tan was totally even, really natural looking, and lasted for quite a while. I cannot recommend this place highly enough!!!Even more impressive was the fact that they made me feel completely comfortable, casual, and even beautiful as I stood without clothing in a small room with a complete stranger.Stop off at Platinum Tan & Spa as soon as you get into town...and I guarantee you'll feel fab-oo.

I have to give this place 5 stars because it really is the best tanning place I have been to in San Diego.They have a great variety of machines from standard to high-pressure. Their prices are reasonable but if you buy a package its a really great deal - hard to beat the value for your money.The beds here are always immaculate. I have never seen so much as a towel out of place. you can schedule appointments or do a walk-in. I have never once had to wait for a high-pressure bed. Everyone who works here is nice and if they cant answer your question they will direct you to someone who can. I have never done the spray tanning but for some good old-fashioned radiation, this is the best place overall in the city.

Platinum Tan & Spa is hands-down the best tanning salon in San Diego. I am a religious tanner and have visited every tanning salon and personal tanning services there is in the area. The salon is very clean and always have the top of the line equipment and products. The employees are very outgoing, friendly people that are highly educate in this industry. The mystic tan is my favorite and its super quick and long lasting! When calculating overall value...a membership is the way to go. Don't believe me about this place? Go on in and see for yourself.

Being a white dude, it's hard sometimes... especially when you're super white like me. That's why I come here to Platinum Tan & Spa. I have always pass by this place but last week was the first time I came in to get a tan. The place itself looks fantastic inside and out. I got a package deal which was the best I can find in San Diego. The girls who work there are nice and cute. What more can I ask for in a tanning salon...

I would give them a 5 star but they're kind of far from where I live, but I still go here anyways. They always have the best deals. I really like this place! And as I'm getting ready to go on vacation, I feel like I'm prepared with the help from Platinum Tan. Love it! Go here!

I must admit, I had the best tan here since the time I went to Miami. The girls at Platinum Tan did a great job on me, they were very sweet and knowledgeable of their stuff. The salon itself looked very luxurious and peaceful. It was also very well kept and clean, since that is my main concern especially all the bacterias going on nowadays. I had a very good time, the service was impeccable and Platinum Tan really take care of their customers. I totally recommend this salon to everyone!

I've been a customer of Platinum Tan for a few years now and I love it just as much today as the first time I went. From top to bottom this salon is a class act. The customer service is superb. I've found them to be friendly, knowledgeable and polite. The salon is spic and span and the beds are well maintained. The products they carry are good quality and of a varied price range. At Platinum Tan you get the personal touch.

This place is the BEST...i've done the high pressure beds sporadically... it really works so well.it also never burned me or made me red (im pastey white) it also left me glowing and tan/brown/beige colored. The spray tan is great too...came out completely smooth and streak free and was fast and not gross like i expected. it doesnt leave you soaking wet, its kind of a dry layer...one tip though before the spray starts take a huge deep breath because if you inhale while the spray is going you're gonna inhale that stuff...i look a nice tan colored beige thanks to them!
