I found Jerry to be a rude obnoxious man who insisted he was a professional but was trying to bait and switch. I spoke with Jerry and made an appointment to have my hair pressed and curled (Natural Hair) Shampoo

Rude . The owner/ stylist knows now about customer service. Don't spend your money here. Very high prices for poor service !

I have enjoyed the services of this salon for over twenty years. The stlyes are always fresh. Customer Service is impeccable and the welcoming atmosphere is always professional. From stlyes to color to cuts the the service is always pleasing and designed for the individual client.The pleasure expressed by the diverse clientel, male and female reminds me that this salon is a treasure in the local area. I know clients that have moved away from the local area and have returned to this salon because of the consistant professionalism displayed in this salon. I highly recommend this Salon for any ethnicity, or gender. You won't be disappointed.

For Working Professionals, this is a great salon! Very Clean salon, Professional, and Attentive to your hair care needs. The total experience and quality service is well worth the pay. If you want drama, over-booking, late arrivals by the stylist, loud obnoxious music then there are plenty other salons in the area that can provide just that.

I recommend this salon to everyone who desires to have beautiful,healthy hair. Only the best products are used to ensure the best results.The personalized service can't be matched anywhere. A patron never has to worry about noisy, over crowded conditions with loud gossip, profanity or other drama. This shop is always very clean and sanitary. Although it can be pricey, "You get what you pay for." As for me, I'm worth it.

Shear Elegance has been my favorite for my total hair care for more than 7yrs. I wear my hair natural and I've never had anyone who could cut and color my hair the way Jerry can.

Hello, Jerry-- Hope you are having a great day. At the risk of sounding melodramatic, you have helped change my life! Well, at least, with regard to my hair. I have had no trouble managing my hair, it stays in good shape all day, it shines again. I have to spend only 5 minutes or so in the morning, especially if I carefully wrap it at night, so it makes my morning routine much easier. And then there are the comments--people at work, my patients, the receptionists, etc. have all stopped me and remarked on how much better and younger I look with this cut and style and how it flatters my face! Jerry, I can't thank you enough--this is probably the best cut I've had in years. Please let me know if you have any openings for barber visits for 3 of my sons this week. Two (ages 8 and 11) basically need trims and edge-ups and the third (16) needs his afro conditioned, trimmed and edged up. Thanks again. You seem to truly run a "class-act" salon. Dana

This salon will make you mad!!! I have never been to a salon were the stylist quote me one price but over charges by 500%. A SIMPLE layer cut ended up costing me 90.00. He told me my cut starts at 20.00. Granted my cut was 25.00 but he also charged me 50.00 to SHAMPOO my hair and 14.00 for a maintaince (conditioner). I do not recommend this salon to anyone who does not want to give their money away. The cut looks like it is worth 30.00 at the most. Go to someone you know and trust or if it is a simple cut go to a franchise.
