My hair was a mess and I was feeling down. On a Saturday afternoon, I planned to pickup a coloring kit at WalMart. I made a spontaneous decision to see if SmartStyle had a stylist available who knew how to cut and shape curly hair. I lucked out and found Kathryn, a stylist who also has naturally curly hair. She did new color and highlights; the cut is fantastic. I look 10 years younger! I've spent $300 for the same services with less desirable results at other salons. I feel uncomfortable in crowded, rushed salons where the stylists are always in a rush to get you in and out. Another plus, SmartStyle doesn't do nails, so I was not breathing hazardous fumes. Needless to say, I will be back to see Kathryn! She was very meticulous and did not squeeze in other clients while I was there.
