I have been going to Chenika for a few months after I dyed my hair BALD! It fell out and became so damaged, i thought that my hair would never grow back. Chenika told me to take some supplements and she has been taking excellent care of my hair ever since. It has grown back and it is continuing to grow. I am completely satisfied with TCOYH!

Oh my goodness, I have just moved to the area and Chenika was the only stylist in the VA Beach area that use the Affirm relaxer which I have to use do to my sentive scaple. She is AMAZING she was very friendly, she asked me lots of questions to see what I like and after she was done styling my hair I was I so happy. She is my new hair stylist hands down.

Chenika did my hair for my wedding, and she was a lifesaver! First of all, I could not find a hair salon in the Virginia Beach area that was open on Sundays. When I finally found her, she was more than willing to style my hair on a Sunday. (My wedding was on a Sunday.) She did a beautiful job with my hair, and was very meticulous with details. I got so many compliments on how beautiful I was that day, and I owe it mostly to Chenika's talent! ~Robyn

I have been going to TCOYH for about 4 months now, and my stylist is AJ. She is very good, she has patients, she very understanding, very punctual, and does well with my hair. I had short brittle hair, and now my hair has grown about 4 inches and is much more healthier.

I started going to Chenieka for about three months now and I have noticed a difference in my hair! I also had some thinning areas, especially around my crown area and it is definitely growing back. She specializes in healthy hair and she shares her knowledge with you about how to maintain healthy hair. I recommend this salon, you will not be disappointed!!!! BAH, Virginia Beach

I have been coming to Chenika for about a year now. When I intially met Chenika, my hair had been thinning and was pretty damaged. I explained to Chenika my medication regimen. She also addressed the stress that I had been going through with trying to finish my last couple of semesters in school. Chenika recommended an oral supplement to help with the thinning hair and she suggested that I find a way to reduce my stress. After starting the oral supplements and letting Chenika treat my hair, my hair is now healthier and fullier. I will not trust my hair to anyone else because Chenika has litterally brought my hair back to life. My hair seemed to be a hopeless case but now people tell me my hair looks like a wig. My relaxer and color has never lasted so long and my hair feels beautiful. You have to give TCOYH a try if you take medications, have thinning hair and have tried everything imaginable. I am so happy with my hair.

#1 hair care in Virginia beach. I started going to Chenika about 5 months ago. I relocated to this area with my husband who is in the Navy.I was in search of a beautian, due to an illness that caused my hair to have extensive breakage. I consulted with Chenika,she looked at my hair made some recommendations and told me that she could get my hair back to being healthy and LONG again. In just the few months that I have been going to her shop she has truly did what she promised. I was amazed at the hair growth in just a short period of time,Thanks Chenika. I would recommend this shop to anyone in the VABeach area who wants a warm and friendly environment. She works in the shop with her mother,and they provide you with the feeling of not just being a client but as an extension of their family. Chenika has truly worked a MIRACLE with my hair. If you want long,healty hair and a great environment for the children give TCOYH a call and I promise you will not be disappointed.

Both ladies, Chenika and KJ are skilled professionals who have been taking care of me and my daughter's hair since the opening of the shop. As a paying customer, I value good service and consideration - I can always count on these qualities from these ladies. Not only do I get my money's worth, I feel important, my time is valued, the atmosphere is always pleasant and I usually leave with a smile on my face. The shop is clean, the clients are friendly and it is a good location with great parking. Whether you are thinking about going natural or chemicals, they can take care of you. A year ago, you could see my scalp because of the balding..now my hair is healthy and thicker then it has been in 3 years because of Chenika's "touch", KJ works wonders on my daughter's hair, I have decided to go natural with her normally permed hair. And - they practice what they preach, both beautiful young ladies, Chenika with her stylish cut &. KJ"s afro.... Check it out for yourself!

Better yet, these people know how to take care of your hair. I had my hair styled by KJ who was amazing! I am going natural and I had KJ give me some twists as a starter style so that I could figure out if I wanted to really commit and go natural or give in to the lure of the relaxer. KJ was efficient, humorous, and professional. She gave me advise on how to care for my hair and I can humbly say that I looked oh so cute once she was done with my locs. As long as I can have KJ styling my hair, I have no trepidations whatsoever about going natural. Having her explain to me the history behind the hair style and the many options available to me if I decided to go natural gave me a confidence in her abilities and a determination to return for more hair care services and styles. I highly recommend TCOYH Beauty Salon and KJ for anyone who is looking for a dedicated beautician who really cares about the client's hair and beauty regime...Thanx, KJ!

I will continue to go to this salon on a regular bases. It's a friendly atmosphere and she tries to get to know you. Mrs. Chenika tries to get to know you as a person.

I have been getting my hair styled by the owner of this shop since I have moved out to Virginia Beach and I have not had any regrets. My hair has grown faster and looks healthier in her care, and what I love about her the most is she will tell me when I am trying to do too much to my hair because the health of my hair is the most important thing to her. 008 - I am so satisfied with the quality and service I received from Chenika at TCOYH. She took the time to find out my expectations, lifestyle and desires. I was so impressed with the consultation, that I couldn't wait to see what she was going to do with my hair. This salon lives up to every positive expectation a salon customer desires: prompt, courteous, observant, professional, knowledgable, personable and affordable. Chenika I love my hair AND TCOYH. The best decision I ever made was when I went to Tcoyh I really don't mind driving from Norfolk to to Va. Bch to Tcoyh. AJ took her time and used her expertise to give me a consultation and was very thorough. At the end of the consultation she gave me her recommendations. I was very pleased with her professionalism, and the hair style she gave me was perfect for the shape of my face and my life style. Thank You again AJ I intend to be your permanent customer. ps I got a lot of complements on my style.

TCOYH Beauty Salon was a very nice and personable salon. The stylist was very knowledgeable about how to gain and maintain healthy hair. The stylist was very professional and listened to my expectations of how I wanted my hair. I am enjoying my style and I plan to go back in the future. This is a good salon for anyone looking for efficiant, professional and affordable service.

My hair was very damaged and I desperately needed help, but after going to TCOYH beauty salon and meeting the owner and friendly staff there, I would definitely recommend this place to all of my friends. I am extremely satisfied with my hair and now I am a customer!!
